Description of Responsibility:  

The Network Reliability Center (NRC) provides a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) and accountability for control and analysis of network element alarms or trouble indicators. The NRC proactively monitors and responds to trouble conditions anywhere in BellSouth's nine-state network, including all switches, facilities and broadband elements in the network. The NRC monitors the performance of alarms and maintenance indicators to identify and correct potential problems before service is affected. The center then provides real-time response to network alarms by advising maintenance departments of major outages for immediate routing of personnel.

 
Hours of Operation:
The Network Reliability Center provides 24 hours/day, 7 days/week monitoring of the BellSouth network.
