Service Description

BellSouth Customer Activity Register (CAR) service provides Interexchange Carriers (IXCs) with a daily listing of customer change activity on end users not subscribed to your service.

When you can't afford to wait for monthly data, obtain the daily CAR information so you'll have the most up-to-date customer change data, such as new connects and disconnects, T and F orders, number or name changes, and record orders.

Use CAR in conjunction with BellSouth Listed Name and Address (LNA) to keep your marketing and operations information current. Current information is the edge you need today's competitive environment.

BellSouth Customer Activity Register (CAR) service is the tool carriers need to target lost customers, identify switchers and access daily updates and changes to LNA data for all prospective customers. You'll be one of the first to learn of customer changes.

BellSouth Change Activity Register provides you with the following information to keep your databases current and accurate:

  • Listed Name and Address, City, State and ZIP Code
  • Billing Telephone Number
  • Working Telephone Number
  • Terminal Number
  • Customer Type Indicator (Business or Residential)
  • Non-published/Non-list Indicator (if subscribed to an IXC)
  • Customer Source (if subscribed to an IXC)
  • Customer Code
  • Foreign Language Indicator (FLI)
  • SIC Code
  • Jurisdictional Indicator
  • PIC Freeze Indicator

Availability & Pricing

With BellSouth Change Activity Register (CAR) service you only pay for what you get. The price structure is record-based so you are always getting your money's worth. Both the IntraLATA Subscribed List and InterLATA Subscribed List are available at the same price, currently $.062 per record.

CAR is available to registered Interexchange Carriers (IXCs) in Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, S. Carolina and Tennessee.

Ordering & Implementation

You can order BellSouth Change Activity Register (CAR) service by obtaining a Customer Information Request Form (CL-1058) and forwarding it to the Equal Access Service Center (EASC) via FAX at 205 321-1006.
