Service Description

BellSouth Customer Change Activity Service (CCAS) provides a daily list of customer change activity on end users not subscribed to the ordering Interexchange Carrier (IXC).

Through the electronic CARE interface, CCAS provides you with information on local service activity including new connects, T and F orders, disconnects, number changes and more. This information provides important focus to your marketing efforts.

Used in conjunction with BellSouth's Customer Name and Address (CNA), you can create and manage your customer billing and account databases with the most current information available and with minimal impact on customers.

With BellSouth Customer Change Activity Service (CCAS), you can keep your data current with daily updates of all changes to your CNA data. The daily CCAS report provides the same data that's stored in your CNA files, so you'll be one of the first to learn of new connects or disconnects, name and number changes, and move orders.

A current database helps prevent fraud, streamline order entry, identify customer moves and, best of all, increase customer service capabilities.

Your customers expect you to have state-of-the-art tracking and billing systems in place. Using BellSouth CCAS and CNA enables you to create and maintain your database, without spending costly time and effort.

To keep your customer database current, BellSouth Customer Change Activity Service provides:

  • Billing Name and Address
  • Billing Telephone Number
  • Working Telephone Number
  • Terminal Number
  • Customer Type Indicator (Business or Residential)
  • Non-published/Non-list Indicator (If subscribed to an IXC)
  • Customer Code

Availability & Pricing

The price structure for BellSouth Customer Change Activity Service (CCAS) is record-based so you only pay for what you get. Both the IntraLATA List and InterLATA List are available at the same price, currently $.05 per record.

CCAS is available to registered Interexchange Carriers (IXCs) in all nine states except for North Carolina.
