Service Description
BellSouth AIN Virtual Number Call Detail, better known as BellSouth AdWatch service, is an innovative call-tracking service that can be used to measure advertising effectiveness. The service uses virtual numbers to collect information about each incoming call, so there's no expense of adding physical lines.
When someone calls one of the virtual numbers listed in an ad, BellSouth AdWatch collects important information on the call then instantly forwards the call to the regular phone line of your choice (including hunting groups if desired). The date, time, call duration, calling number and call disposition (whether or not the call was answered) are provided for each call logged by the virtual number.
AdWatch is completely transparent to both the calling party and called party - they never know AdWatch is at work providing you valuable information to help in future marketing and business ventures.
Targeted marketing, establishing market presence, and limiting expenses are all benefits of using BellSouth AdWatch service. With AdWatch, you'll be able to discover who is responding to your ads, so you can measure exposure or test your presence in a remote market. Or use local numbers in a remote geographic area without having a physical presence by routing the virtual number to a long distance or 800 number. Service Design
BellSouth AdWatch takes your conventional connection and routes it through a "virtual number".
This number records vital call information while forwarding the call back to your regular number. Information recorded on the call includes time, date, call duration, and caller phone number. You know exactly how, when and from where customers are responding to your ads. There's no delay, and the process is transparent to the caller and the person who answers the call.
With the new extended data offering you can also get the caller's name and zip code.

Availability & Pricing
Although AdWatch is most cost-effective for BellSouth if you're located within the BellSouth territory, you're still able to take advantage of this valuable service from outside of BellSouth's nine-state region.
The current pricing structure for AdWatch Service is as follows:
Setup Costs (one time):
- Virtual Number Provisioning: $20.00 each number
- Virtual Number Activation: $15.00
Recurring Costs (each month):
- Virtual Number Provisioning: $5.00
- Virtual Number Activation: Basic — $15.00; Extended — $20.00
- Call Reports: $4.00 to $20.00 depending upon frequency
- Message Charge (for each incoming call): $0.03
Each time you make an account change a nominal $20.00 Service Change Charge will apply.

Ordering & Implementation
BellSouth AdWatch service is provisioned and supported by the Intelligent Network Services Service Center. The INSSC handles orders for AdWatch service including activation, deactivation and disconnects.
