Per Line Blocking
[AL, FL, KY, LA, MS ] There is a per line blocking feature which allows Federal, State, & Local Law Enforcement and Domestic Violence Intervention Agencies the ability to prevent the delivery of their telephone name and/or number, on all outgoing calls, to a called party who subscribes to a Caller ID service. It is in operation on a continuous basis and cannot be deactivated by the customer except by a service order request.
Exception: If the access code (*82) is dialed on a line with Per Line, the line "toggles off" line blocking therefore, delivering the customer's telephone name and/or number on that particular call. The next call made will not transmit the telephone name an/or number unless (*82) is activated again.
Customers with Per Line blocking must be aware of this access code, in order to turn off their Per LineBlocking on a Per Call basis.
