Service Description
Earlier this year, BellSouth began using new transport equipment for customer-purchased OC192 SMARTRing and LightGate Systems. This new equipment will now allow a DS3 connection directly to the OC192 transport. Additional channel system charges or overlay charges are no longer required to deliver DS3s from an OC192-purchased facility. Additional work is underway to deliver native ethernet speeds later this year. Please contact your account representative for details.
