Migrating Less-Than-1K Blocks
Wireless Service Providers can migrate blocks of Type 1 numbers using Porting techniques. Click here to view a flow chart summarizing the process used to migrate blocks of less-than-1K Type 1 numbers to Type 2 Trunks.
To migrate blocks of numbers using porting techniques, the Wireless Service Provider must submit a Local Service Request package to BellSouth’s Local Carrier Service Center via an electronic ordering interface: LENS, EDI, or TAG. Alternatively, a Wireless Service Provider may elect to have their authorized vendor submit migration requests on their behalf.
