Course Description

This two day course introduces students to background material and instructions on how to submit a wireline to wireless porting request to BellSouth.

Performance Objectives

Upon completion of the training, attendees will successfully be able to:

1. Utilize the manual method (paper forms) to place WLNP orders to BellSouth by:

  • Correctly preparing the Local Service Request (LSR) Form, End User Information (EU) Form, Number Portability (NP) Form and the Directory Listing (DL) Form

2. Utilize the Local Exchange Navigation System (LENS) to:

  • Obtain pertinent order information (Customer Service Records and Valid Addresses) through the LENS Inquiry Mode.
  • View the status of LSRs using View LSR/Order Information
  • Supplement LSRs

All Classes are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day. 

CANCELLATION OF CLASSES
In those cases where the minimum enrollment requirement is not met, BellSouth reserves the right to cancel classes two weeks prior to the start date. Classes may also be canceled within 24 hours due to inclement weather.
