Errors are generated when updates to the 911 database do not pass database edits. Errors are sorted in TN order and an error code is provided to aid the user in identifying erroneous information. Intrado processes all the ICOs daily update records to the E911 database. The daily update records validate against the different databases and tables in the E911 database. If a daily update record passes all validations, the record is posted to the E911 database and is sent to the ALI database for retrieval purposes. If the daily update record does not pass all validations, the record is posted to an error database and will remain there until it has been corrected.
