4.8 Unnumbered Ranges Spanning County/ City / Parish Boundaries
When a street crosses the county / city / parish boundary, it probably
crosses ESN boundaries. The options for the county / city / parish are:
- number the portion of the street within the county / city / parish,
leaving the remainder unnumbered.
- choose one ESN to which all subscribers on the street will route. This
would mean that those subscribers in the adjacent county / city / parish would
be answered at the PSAP and manually handled per local procedures.
