Include every subscriber out-dial line within the county / city / parish.
Refer to the BellSouth VSP E911 Guide for details on VoIP service.
Include all subscriber lines within the wire center including overlap
areas that are outside county / city / parish boundaries if end office screening
is not being used. When end office screening is used, the ICO must be able
to screen subscribers' accounts on an on-going basis and send data only for
those accounts which fall inside in the E911 county / city / parish. All lines
are maintained in the E911 host database either through a direct connection
arrangement or via service order activity sent to BST for Directory Assistance.
Reconcile addresses on subscriber lines to MSAG standards prior to loading
TNs to achieve a 95% success rate for initial load. If data fails to meet
a 95% accuracy rate, the data will be referred back to the ICO. The ICO will
be required to correct the data and re-submit to Intrado for processing. Failure
to meet the 95% accuracy rate when loading the E911 data could delay the cut
of the E911 system. If the ICO is unable to conduct an internal compare of
their MSAG to their customer database, a compare can be performed by INTRADO
Communication, Inc. at a charge. Arrangements for the compare should be made
with the BST AFIG Supervisor.
Dedicate adequate resources for error correction in order to reach a
3% error objective by the beginning of Call Through Testing and 1% error rate
by cutover.
Number / Name the previously Unnumbered / Unnamed street addresses on
the subscriber accounts according to information provided by the county /
city / parish. (These are streets that the proper authority, i.e., county
/ city / parish, Department of Transportation, etc., have named / numbered
officially.)
Negotiate with the county / city / parish for a mutually acceptable
date and method by which the Telco will update addresses on subscribers' accounts
which have been numbered/named by the county / city / parish previously, but
have not been updated on Telco records.
If BST is to handle updates for the ICO through the BST ICONS group,
prepare the NXX Notification Form as notification to INTRADO and BST of the
effective date to begin capturing daily service orders. For conversion activity
and to add a new NXX to an existing wire center the form must be provided
to the INTRADO supervisor and to the BST Address and Facility Inventory Group
(AFIG) two(2) weeks prior to the effective date for testing or two(2) weeks
prior to the effective date for additional NXXs. For conversion activity,
the effective date will be the day after the TN load captures existing customer
accounts. An example of the NXX Notification form with instructions is shown
in this tab.
Maintain addresses as MSAG standard and generate new / subsequent activity
on Service Orders with MSAG valid addresses.
If using Connect Mailbox or some other mechanized data transmission
process, be prepared to begin sending daily updates when initial TN database
is created.
