CHAPTER 7.0 - TN Database Conversion and Updates |
If the ICO uses ICONs for Directory Assistance and does not transmit the records directly to INTRADO, the data can be electronically sent to the ICONs group or the ICO data may be input into the ICONs system from a form prepared by the ICO. Changes in formatting of service orders are sometimes required to meet the standard specifications. A list of the standard abbreviations, thoroughfare names and directionals are shown on the following pages. The following sections of the Service Order are required for E911 processing:

Secondary / Subsidiary lines are required for multi-line Residence / Business if the ANI outpulsed is that of the subsidiary, and not the main telephone number.
Normally, a listed address is used for the E911 or directory listing. The community name is required and must be spelled in full.
ILA 123 MAIN ST, LEEDS
If a service address is needed, it must include the community name and any other data required to dispatch to the service location, since the service address (instead of the listed address) will be displayed at the PSAP
ILA CITY FEDERAL BLDG
ISA 100 N MAIN ST, MILLINGTON
ILOC
SUITE 1600
Location Data and / or service address must be formatted following the listed address, and not in the remarks section of the order. Also, it must be clear if this is an apartment, lot, suite, etc.:
ILA 123 MAIN ST, ROSEMARK or ILOC LOT 4
ILOC APT 1
The "AT" (@) sign is used to indicate the absence of a house number, and is always followed by a space.
ILA @ COLONY WOODS M*H*P*
ISA 1300 RALEIGH RD, MILLINGTON
ILOC
LOT 3
Thoroughfares are abbreviated, except when they are used as part of the street name. Then they must be spelled out:
ILA 125 ROSE PLACE CIR, HOOVER
United States Highway Names are abbreviated and not spelled out:
ILA @ U S HIGHWAY 51, MILLINGTON
Note:
When a business service order is issued with secondary/subsidiary telephone numbers that have out-dial capability, an entry in the S & E section of the order is required:
I1 1FB /TN 555-1212
