CHAPTER 8.0 - Call Through Testing |
The purpose of Call Through Testing is to test the E911 System from both a network and a database perspective before it is available for the public's use. This phase lasts two to three months and a test code is used during this time. Because data already in the switch can be impacted when additional conversions are implemented, any pre-existing NXXs for the original City / County / Parish must be tested as well as those being added.
At the time Call Through Testing begins, both conversion and daily error rate must be 3% or lower (1% or lower by cutover).
