The Access Online Ordering Tutorial demonstrates how to complete various activities within the CAFÉ system.

The tutorial consists of 10 modules which are further divided into specific topics. It utilizes actual CAFE screen shots, step-by-step instructions, applicable, real-life scenarios, and additional notes to show users how to take advantage of various CAFE functionalities.

You may navigate to any of the modules by clicking one of the links to the right. It is recommended that, after reading the BellSouth Ordering Process Flow Overview, the modules be taken in order, beginning with the Tutorial Tour.

BellSouth Access Online Ordering Process Flow Overview
Understand the order flow and processes behind placing an Access order with BellSouth. Review background information to better understand the tutorial modules.

Module 1: Access Online Ordering Tutorial Tour
Take a tour of the tutorial to better understand its purpose and use. The tour also provides an overview of the Common Access Front End (CAFE) system.

Module 2: CAFE Pre-Order Inquiries
Perform NC/NCI/SECNCI, CFA, Address, and Facility Availability pre-order validations.

Module 3: CAFE Templates
Create, edit, and delete templates for submitting Access Service Requests (ASRs). Create an ASR from a template.

Module 4: CAFE Firm Orders
Create and submit an ASR from a blank set of forms.

Module 5: CAFE Saved/Partial ASRs
Save an ASR, retrieve a partial ASR, edit a saved ASR, and delete a saved ASR.

Module 6: Update/Supplement an ASR in CAFE
Cancel an ASR, change the Desired Due Date for an ASR, and Update the order information on an ASR.

Module 7: View ASR/ASR Feedback/View Supplement History in CAFE
View an existing ASR. View the feedback for a submitted ASR. View the supplement history associated with an ASR.

Module 8: Generate Reports in CAFE
Create and download a report based on user specified criteria. Reports return lists of ASRs meeting those user specified criteria, such as a certain Status or Request Type.

Module 9: CAFE ASR/DLR Search
Perform Quick Searches and Direct Searches to view ASRs and Design Layout Records (DLRs). View ASR and DLR response information.

Module 10: PIC
Perform a PIC Inquiry or a PIC Change Order on a particular telephone number(s).

Module 11: CAFE User Administration
Change Password, view CAFE release notes, view Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) and provide online feedback regarding the CAFE system.

Module 12: Reciprocal Trunking
Submitting reciprocal trunking information.
