Scenario: You want to assign and/or modify telephone numbers
for the lines on an LSR.

1. From the Main Menu, click "Firm Orders".
The Firm Order Menu is displayed.

2. From the "Request Type" drop down, select "Resale
(Non-Complex) - EB.
3. From the "Activity Type" drop down, select "Change
- C".
4. Populate the required fields, including "Telephone Account
Number". Required fields are shown in red.
5. Click "Continue".
The LSR Line Management screen is displayed.

6. In the "Add Previously Reserved TN" fields, type your
previously reserved telephone numbers and click "OK" and/or,
in the "Add Other Existing TN" fields, type other existing
numbers and click "OK" to add numbers to the "Available
Telephone Numbers list.
OR
Populate the "Telephone Number Options", "Special
Number Pattern", and "Number Exclusions" fields as
desired/necessary and click "Retrieve Available Telephone Numbers"
to get a list of numbers.

7. In the "Available Telephone Numbers" list, select
one or more numbers. To select multiple numbers, hold the Ctrl key
while clicking on the desired numbers.
8. Click the right arrow.
Selected numbers display in the "Selected Telephone Numbers"
list.

9. To configure Line Details, click "Continue to Line Details".
Proceed to Step 10.
OR
To select Features and Services, click "Continue to Features
and Services". Proceed to Step 11.
OR
If it is necessary to change the PIC/LPIC, click "Continue
to Change PIC/LPIC". Proceed to Step 12.
10. Configure Line Details:

a. To configure the telephone number, in the "Line Activity"
drop down, select the appropriate Line Activity.
b. Click the corresponding telephone number hyperlink.
The Service Details section of the Line Details Change screen
is displayed.

c. Populate the Service fields, as needed.
d. Once you have completed the screen either click "Accept
Line Details for Selected Telephone Number" or "Accept
Line Details for All Telephone Numbers", as appropriate.
All configured telephone numbers return with red
checkmarks.

e. Click "Continue to Due Date" and proceed to Step 13.
OR
Click "Continue to Directory Listings" and proceed
to Step f below.
The Directory Listing Details screen is displayed.

f. Populate the fields in each section, as applicable.
g. Click "Continue".
If the "Listing Activity" field is populated with "New
Listing" or "Change", a message is displayed reminding
you to type the Listed Name and Address exactly as you want them
to appear in the Directory.
h. To edit your entries, click "Cancel". Once the entries
are exactly correct, click "OK".
The Directory Listing Details, continued screen is displayed.

i. Populate the fields in each section as applicable.
j. Click "Continue".
The Directory Listing Summary screen is displayed.

k. Populate the fields in the Submitted Listing Information section.
- To Edit the listing:
- Click the Directory Listing Number.
- Change the information as needed when the Directory Listing
Details screen appears.
- Click "Continue" until you return to the Directory
Listing Summary screen.
- To Delete the listing:
- Click the "Select to Delete" checkbox for the
listing.
- Click "Delete Selected Listings"
- To Add Another Listing:
- Click "Add a New Listing Request".
- Repeat the Directory Listing process when the Directory
Listing Details screen appears.
l. When the listing is complete, click "Continue".
The Calculate Due Date screen is displayed. Proceed to Step 13.

11. Select Feature and Services:

a. To select features for a specific telephone number
either click the telephone number hyperlink
OR
To choose features for all lines, click "Select Features
and Services for All Lines Not Configured".
The Features and Services screen displayed.

b. From the box on the left, select no more than 5 services to be
added to the line or lines and click "Display Features for
Selected Service".
OR
Click "Features for Touchtone, Touchstar, RingMaster, Custom
Calling and Customized Code Restrictions" to see the features
for those particular services.
The Features and Services, Available Features screen is displayed.

c. Check the box associated with each desired feature and click
"Add Features".
The Selected Features screen is displayed with the selected features
listed at the top.

d. Review the selected features.
To remove a feature, check the box associated with the
desired feature and click "Remove Selected Features".
OR
To begin again, click "Remove All Features" and return
to Step 11.
e. Click "Return to Select TN for Features and Services"
when you have confirmed the features are correct.
The Select TN for Features and Services screen is displayed.
A red checkmark appears next to all telephone numbers for which
features have been confirmed.

f. Click "Continue to Line Details".
The Line Details Change screen is displayed. For each remaining
line repeat the process beginning at Step 10. Once all lines have
been configured, continue to Step 12. In order to proceed to Step
12, click "Return to LSR Line Management" and then,
on the LSR Line Management screen, click "Continue to Change
PIC/LPIC".

12. Changing PIC/LPIC:
For Single-Line Accounts:

a. Enter the new PIC and/or LPIC in the corresponding fields
and select the Freeze IP Indicator or click the telephone number
to use the Carrier Search screen.
b. Click "Continue with Change Order".
The Calculate Due Date screen is displayed. Proceed to Step 13.
For Multi-line Accounts, you can change the PIC/LPIC for all telephone
numbers and for specific telephone numbers:

a. All Telephone Numbers:
- Enter the new PIC and/or LPIC in the corresponding fields
in the "Change PIC/LPIC for EACH Telephone Number"
section or click "View Available Carriers in Switch"
to use the Carrier Search screen.
- Select the optional Freeze PIC Indicator.
- Click "Apply Selection to ALL Telephone Numbers"
to update all telephone numbers on the account with the
new carrier information or click "Apply Selection to
Telephone Numbers which have NOT been Configured" to
update those telephone numbers not yet changed.
- Click "Continue with Change Order". The Calculate
Due Date screen is displayed.
b. Specific Telephone Numbers:
- Enter the new PIC and/or LPIC in the "PIC" and
"LPIC" boxes associated with the specific telephone
number in the "Change PIC/LPIC for ALL Telephone Numbers"
section.
- Click "Continue with Change Order". The Calculate
Due Date screen is displayed.
OR
- Click on the telephone number to use the Carrier Search
screen.
- Select the optional Freeze PIC Indicator.
- Repeat last 2 steps for each telephone number to be changed.
- Click "Continue with Change Order" when you
have completed the final change. The Calculate Due Date
screen is displayed.
The Calculate Due Date screen is displayed.

13. If the Calculated Due Date is not desirable, type a new date
in the "Desired Due Date" field.
14. Click "Recalculate Due Date".
15. Populate the required fields.
16. To complete any activities (Features and Services, Line Details,
Directory Listings) not yet performed, click "Return to LSR
Line Management". Click on the appropriate link at the bottom
of the page.
17. To view or edit LSR-related informationClick on any of the
toolbar links at the bottom of the screen.
18. When your LSR is complete and accurate, click "Submit
LSR".
If your LSR is complete and accurate you will receive an Acknowledgement.
If you do not receive an Acknowledgement, you may have entered a
duplicate PON or made a fatal LSR error.
If the PON is a duplicate, LENS will prompt you to provide a different
PON and resubmit the LSR.
If an error exists in your LSR, LENS displays the Error List Page:
- To review the error, click the corresponding link.
- After correcting the error, click "Return to Error List
Page".
- Click "Resubmit LSR.
Note:
You must be the owner of the account to perform a Change. The account
must be business or residential to perform a Change. The account
may contain up to 25 lines.
