6.1 Cancel an Existing LSR

Scenario: You want to cancel an existing LSR.

1. From the Main Menu, click "Supplement Existing Request".

The Supplement Existing Request screen is displayed.

2. Select "Cancel Existing LSR".

3. In the "PON" field, type the PON of the LSR you want to cancel.

4. Click "Process Change".

A message box appears asking you to confirm or cancel the supplement.

5. Click "OK".

If your LSR is complete and accurate you will receive an Acknowledgement. If you do not receive an Acknowledgement, you may have entered a duplicate PON or made a fatal LSR error.

If the PON is a duplicate, LENS will prompt you to provide a different PON and resubmit the LSR.

If an error exists in your LSR, LENS will take you to the Error List Page:

  • To review the error, click the corresponding link.
  • After correcting the error, click "Return to Error List Page".
  • Click "Resubmit LSR".

Note:

You cannot supplement an LSR with the LSR Status of "LSR Rejected". You must build and re-issue a new LSR. When this happens after receiving a LENS Acknowledgement, the LSR has been rejected by a backend system. LSRs with a status of "LSR Rejected" will be purged from LENS 10 days after rejection.
